Hello & Thanks for stopping at this little corner of the internet.
I know there are like a bazillion blogs out there for the best of this and that and the other. But, I have been having a hard time finding things specific to NORTHERN Wisconsin.
My family has lived in Northern Wisconsin for JUST SHY of 3 years. We lived in Milwaukee for 11. Ok, wait. Let me fix this. We lived in Milwaukee as a FAMILY for 11 years.
Dad lived in Milwaukee for 35 years (born and raised)
Son lived in Milwaukee for 14 years (born & raised)
Daughter lived in Milwaukee for 8 years (born/partially raised)
Daughter 2 lived in Milwaukee for 1 year (born)
I lived in Milwaukee for 11. (don't ask LOL)
We moved to Merrill, which is considered I guess the "Gateway to the Northwoods" in August of 2011. We are just starting to get brave enough to venture out on our own and explore and find things to do up here that are family and budget friendly.
By budget friendly, I mean we are a one income family. So it has to be REALLY budget friendly.
So with that said, this blog will be my personal reviews on activities, events, or attractions that we go see, attend, or do. I hope that our Northern adventures will help you in your Northern Wisconsin adventures. :)
